Any club meeting will prove that this is not just a simple construction system but a tool that can demonstrate the application of real engineering solutions in pleasing realistic working models making use of the latest materials, techniques and technology. Yes there are computer systems and several different radio control systems made by today’s Meccano.
Members share their inspiration in helpful ways to locate good sources of information and materials and encourage techniques in a highly social and light-hearted environment.
All of us are quick to admit that we can’t know how everything works but if one of us doesn’t then so often someone will know a person who does. Then off you go. We are sure that you will be thrilled to see these wonders of a modern and progressive hobby so why not come on down to our, or any other club’s exhibition.
